Welcome to the Salt Creek Sheep Company. A convergence of two worlds and of two times. Classic and modern and of all the things in between. In a time of more is more, sometimes simple is best and so is less. That doesn't mean it can't also be more. So much more. We are encountering people searching for connection, for meaning, for peace and for balance. They are searching for a grounding source in a world of chaos and disconnect. We walk railways not recognizing how far we have gone and sometimes its at a paths end we look back with a wanting to return to our roots. Salt Creek Sheep Company is bore out of love, the standard blood, sweat and tears and of course some sacrifice. Most importantly a passion and a desire to merge the old with the new, forming its own kind of alchemy and recalibrating our lost path. Reconnecting what it means to live in harmony with the world around us. A place to find the small beauties in life and appreciate the joy in lifes moments.

One of the most beautiful things about working in agriculture is the completeness. The authenticity. The simplicity. The possibilities. The depths of joy, of love, of compassion and of grief. There are no places to hide from life's difficult truths and its unending lessons. I am thoroughly convinced you can find most of life's answers in the fields training a stockdog and working sheep. If it isn't there its at a farm table discussing life over pie. My favorite talks are almost always at a farm table with pie and coffee. There are lessons to be found in patience, finding peace, letting go, perseverance, persistence, discipline, partnership, communication and joy. The list goes on. You name it, it is there waiting in a field of sheep. They say life is about the journey, not the destination. This is our journey. The whys, the whats, the magic, the beauty, the heartbreak and the love.
